SPRING IN MY ROOM / DIY #2

Here I am again with another little pamper session to my room. This one is again related to storage. I love burning candles, I have at least one light up pretty much all the time and when candles burn out, we are left with a candle jar with bits of wax. There are many ways to reuse these candle jars in your home. I chose to use them to store many things - pens, highlighters, hair ties, makeup, hair bows...

 1. I had a pretty big collection of candle jars in my room after Winter.

 2. Fill your candle jars with boiling water.

 3. Let them sit for about 10 minutes at let the wax come off the jars

 4. Pour the water and wax off (just don't pour that mixture into sink, it could end really badly, use the recycling bin) and here you have clean jars ready to be used again.

 5. Take the washi tape of your choice and let your imagination do the work!

 6. You can decorate your jars the way you like them, there are so many possibilities and so many different washi tapes to choose from. Then it's time to fill them with whatever you like and place them somewhere in your room. Have fun!

  1. Great idea! I never really could think of what to do with the empty candle jars but this is perfect!
