THE CHRISTMAS TAG / BLOGMAS ❅ DAY 22

With Christmas only 2 days away, I decided to do a little Christmas tag. It seems to become a little tradition for me, last year I've also done a little tag post with slightly different questions, so today's another round for a tag post! 

1. What is your favorite Christmas Movie?

The ones I watch every year no matter what are Love Actually and The Polar Express, these two mean Christmas to me like nothing else. Last year I have also watched Elf for the first time (yup, for the first time) and I've instantly added it to my collection of favorites. Not that I have only watched Elf last year, I have never actually seen The Grinch, so I have quite a few movies to see, so please, leave your recommendations to me! 
Here's the list of my top 5 favorites I share last year. 

2. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

We go to my Grandma's for the Christmas, so we open the presents on the Christmas Eve while we're there, but my family and I, we open the presents back at home, when it's the 26th of December already.

3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?

I don't have the exact one, but I remember Christmas a while back when there were a lot of people celebrating them together but over the years my cousins grew up and moved out to different countries, two dear people have passed away and there's a lot less of us celebrating the Christmas together nowadays, so I remember these times with a smile on my face. 

I've also shared one specific memory this Blogmas. 

4. Favorite festive food?

I'm all about the Christmas desserts like gingerbread cookies (YUM!), the cakes of every kind, I have a big sweet tooth. I also can't imagine my Christmas without the hot mulled wine, hot chocolate and the tangerines. It's not exactly food, but I don't really have a favorite festive food. 

5. Favorite Christmas gift?

I love receiving gifts which are not things but more like experiences to go and do something, this is what makes me the happiest. Whether that's a ticket to the concert, a massage or some kind of activity, I love it! And I also love receiving books! 

6. Favorite Christmas scent?

The way the home smells when we are baking gingerbread cookies and also the smell of tangerines' is the absolute Christmas scent.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

My family and closest relatives have a tradition to have a little prayer before we eat, then eat loads of food and give gifts to each other after the dinner. 

8. What tops your tree?

Nothing, really, we now have a little house hanging near the top but nothing exactly on the top. 

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) you always asked for but never received?

I'm pretty sure I kept asking for a dog, I imagined a little puppy sitting underneath the tree with a big red bow on it but it obviously never happened. But now I have a cat who has plans to climb our tree this year, so it's all good!

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

To me the best part is the couple of days leading up to Christmas. I love the whole month of December but couple of days right before the Christmas are the nicest. Wrapping up the presents, baking the cookies, meeting up with friends for a little drink and just feeling very festive. 

TMI TAG

A day like this when sun in shining, I‘m sitting on my balcony and drinking hot tea, seems very appropriate to do another tag. I seriously have a thing for them, it‘s not only that I really enjoy doing them, I also love reading posts like these. Today I decided to do a TMI (too much information) tag which I‘ve been seeing for a while now floating around and it seems really interesting to me.

So here we go!

 

○ What are you wearing?

Light blue jeans from Lindex and fluffy sweater from Primark.

○ Have you ever been in love?
It's difficult to answer. I have definitely said it, but when I think really well then probably no, I haven't really been in love.

○ Have you ever had a terrible breakup?

Yes but I managed to pick myself back up quite quickly I think.

○ How tall are you?

I'm 163 cm.

○ How much do you weigh?

Around 50 kg.

○ Do you have any tattoos?

No. One day I would love to get one but I still haven't decided what exactly I would love to get. I know only that I would love to have it on my right wrist.

○ Do you have any piercings?

Yes, I have my ears pierced since I was 12.

○  OTP?

One true pairing to me probably is Monica and Chandler from Friends or Blair and Chuck from Gossip Girl. I just love these two couples so much!

○ What is your favorite TV show?

Soo this is pretty much impossible for me to answer because I am a huge TV shows lover and love way too many shows. My all time favorite one would probably be Friends but I also adore Sex and the City, Pretty little liars, Desperate housewives, New girl, Modern family, Gossip Girl, Girls.. Well that's a lot of favorites!

○ Who are your favorite bands/singers?

Kings of Leon, Coldplay, Beyoncé, Lana Del Rey, The XX, Bastille, Adele, Depeche Mode.

○  What is something you miss? 

My best friend, my Gradma and my Grandad.

○ What is your favorite song?

It changes all the time but at the moment I'd say it is Bastille - Of the night or Pharell - Happy.

○ How old are you?

20 and still can't believe it.

○ Zodiac sign?

Libra.

○  Quality you look for in a partner?

Sense of humor, loyalty, drive, intelligence and kindness.

○ Favorite quote?

Always believe something wonderful is about to happen!

○ Favorite actor/actress?

Leonardo Dicaprio, Meryl Streep, Johny Depp, Zooey Deschanel, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Penelope Cruz. It's so difficult to choose!

○ Favorite colour?

Purple, red or light blue.

○ Loud music or quiet?

It depends on my mood. Mostly I listen to quiet music but when my music is very good or when I'm in a car, I like music to be blasting.

○ Where do you go when you're sad?

I love being in my garden but I can't go there whenever I want to, so I have to say I just have to take a walk, there isn't any particular place but I just like walking. 

○ How long does it take you to shower?

From 15 to 20 minutes.

○ How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

Around 30 minutes.

○Ever been in a physical fight?

No and hope I won't have to.

○ Turn on?

Drive and passion for life, it's always amazing to be around someone who likes to do things, to have new experiences. 

○Turn off?

Rudeness or stupidity, I simply can't handle a guy which is less smart than I am. It doesn't have to sound arrogant in any way, I just like smart guys :)

○ The reason you started blogging?

I have been reading blogs for couple of years and I decided I also need my space on Internet when I could share my pictures, my thoughts and things I like. I was only on my senior year of high school, so I really wanted to document that year and from then on it's just continuing up until now.

○ Fears?

I have too many fears to be honest. Solitude, death, betrayal, small, crowded places.

○ Last thing that made you cry?

It's very very easy to make me cry, I can tear up watching a movie or a video but the last thing that made me cry was several Oscars winners' speeches.

○ Last time you said you loved someone?

Last week.

 ○Meaning behind your blog name?

I always loved balconies and I find them fascinating for some reason. So that would probably be the best explanation, my blog is like my balcony, the favorite place to me where I invite others to join me. 

○ Last book you read?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone. I'm rereading the Harry Potter series at the moment. 

○ The book you're currently reading?

Laurent Gounelle - God always travels incognito.

○ Last show you watched?

Friends.

○ Last person you talked to?

My Mom.

○ The relationship between you and the person you last texted?

She is my amazing friend Kamilė.

○Favorite food?

 I love Italian food so anything like pasta or pizza is perfect to me.

USA, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Thailand.

My Uni.

Yep.

A lady doesn't kiss and tell :)

I honestly don't even remember.

Coconut or raspberry.

Sadly no. I've always wanted to learn to play an instrument but never really got around to do so.

Big rings or statement necklaces.

It's been a while since I played sports. I'm not a very sportive person but sometimes I do some yoga, I really like it!

Pharell Williams - Happy. I love this song!

THE CHRISTMAS TAG

 I a big fan of tags and I'm very interested to read posts like these. I'm not even sure how I found this one but I'm so excited because it's about Christmas and I think it's pretty clear I love Christmas!

1. FAVORITE WINTER NAIL POLISH. I love all things glittery on the Christmas time so glittery nail polish must be my favorite. I've talked more about it here.

 2. FAVORITE WINTER LIP PRODUCT. My must have on winter time is some kind of a lip balm so I really like my Maybelline Baby lips in the color Pink Punch. It protects my lips from harsh winter winds and it also adds a little bit of pink to my lips which is a big plus.

3. MOST WORN WINTER CLOTHING PIECE. I guess it has to be my new favorite sweater (in the picture). I Sometimes I have to stop myself from taking it again from my closet and wearing it. It's so fluffy and cozy and warm and I love it!

4. MOST WORN WINTER ACCESSORY.  I really like wearing big and cozy scarfs on winter time and right now I'm on a mission to find a new one for my collection. 

5. FAVORITE WINTER SCENT/CANDLE. Clementines and gingerbread cookies always remind me of Christmas and I love these scents.
 I like my vanilla candles all year round and of course candle which smells like apple pie is a very good one.

6. FAVORITE WINTER BEVERAGE. I like coffee all the time and in all seasons but on winter I also really like hot chocolate. I'm going to try to make my own soon and maybe I'll share a recipe here. Marshmallows are a perfect addition to drinks like these!

7. ALL TIME FAVORITE CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY MOVIE. Love actually. I've watched that movie many many times and I probably know lines in couple of the scenes but this movie is a perfect one for Christmas. I watch it every year and I love it very very much.

8. FAVORITE CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY SONG. It by Mariah Carey - All I want for Christmas is You or Shaking Stevens - Marry Christmas everyone.

9. FAVORITE HOLIDAY FOOD/TREAT. I love mulled wine on Christmas time. Also gingerbread cookies, mandarins.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS DECORATION THIS YEAR? Since we still don't have our Christmas tree, my favorite decoration is probably the bowl filled with baubles and garlands. It looks so festive, I really like it. And of course, Christmas lights!

11. WHAT'S AT THE TOP OF YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST? I'm dreaming of a massage. It's been a while since I've had my last one (It's been about 2 years) and I would love to receive it. I need to relax and I just love the atmosphere of these massage salons.

12. WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR HOLIDAYS THIS YEAR? My plans for holidays are the same every year. Me and my family go to my Grandma's, eat Christmas dinner, wake up early next morning and go to the Church. After that we spend the time eating a lot and just chilling all together. 

GET TO KNOW ME BETTER

I found this tag floating around in blogosphere and no one really taged me to do it but I still wanted to do it. I really like these kind of posts of others and it's also interesting for me to answer these really random questions : )

1. Are you named after anyone? No, I don't think I am. I just know that my Mom really like this name. 

2. When was the last time you cried? I cry quite a lot, I am really sensitive person and even a movie is enough for me to cry. But I think the last time I did cry was about two weeks ago. 

3. Do you have kids? No.

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? Hmmm... I think I would!

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yes! Every.single.day. I try not to use it as much with people I don't know that well but I use it a lot with my closest friends and family.

6. Will you ever bungee-jump? I would like to say I would because that would be really interesting to try but I'd probably be terrified and couldn't do that. 

7. What’s your favorite cereal? Nestlé Cini Minis I think.

8. What’s the first thing you notice about people? Eyes or hair. And clothes. It's not that they matter that much but I always notice them.

9. What is your eye color? Mix of blue, green and grey. I don't even know what the real color is : D 

10. Scary movie or happy endings? I don't like scary movies and never watch them, so I'd say happy endings. I really like them when they are not very cheesy.

11. Favorite smells? Vanilla, nail polish, apple pie, flowers. 

12. Summer or winter? Summer of course! I hate coldness and I like winter just in Christmas time.

13. Computer or television? Computer because I don't really watch TV and I can watch everything on computer. 

14. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?  I had to use Google for that because I couldn't decide between Crete and Turkey but it turns out that the furthest I've been to is Crete : )

15. Do you have any special talents? I don't think these are talents but I'm quite good with languages, there was a time when I knew how to dance well and I think sometimes I can take a good photo : )

16. Where were you born? Lithuania. 

17. What are your hobbies? Reading, traveling, photography, fashion, writing. 

18. Do you have any pets? Yes, finally I have!

19. Favorite movie? Oooh that's too hard. 500 days of Summer, Midnight in Paris, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Pulp Fiction, Virgin Suicides and many many more. 

20. Do you have any siblings? No. 

21. What do you want to be when you grow up? Even though I am probably already grown up but I still don't know. I just know that I'd like to be successful in whatever I'll decide to do in life but I guess that's pretty obvious :))

30 THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT ME

 1. My favorite flowers of all time are peonies.

2. Most of the time I am an introvert, however when I'm with people I know really well you wouldn't ever tell that.

3. I have never dyed my hair and I'm not planning to do that. I actually really like my hair color :)

4. I love flying on the plane.

5. I love all things with coconut flavor.

6. I think I have an addiction to nail polish.

7. I feel really comfortable when I'm wearing a dress. It's my favorite clothing item.

8. If I could back to any time in my life I would probably choose summer of 2012.

9. I like nights much more than days.

10. I don't really like night clubs. I've been to couple of them but I don't really like going there, the atmosphere there just doesn't suit me.

11. I really really like olives.

12. I like going camping a lot and summer festivals are one of my favorite things in the entire world. A summer without them is not a real summer.

13. I enjoy going to movies a lot, I especially like the feeling when all the lights go down.

14.I am an only child.

15.I hate horror movies. In my entire life I've seen about 4 of them. The first one that I've ever seen was The Ring which was not a very wise choice. I was terrified for a really long time.

16. I adore all kinds of berries and my favorite ones are raspberries.

17. I am really clumsy. I can fall even when there's no chance of falling. I slip and stumble all the time.

18. I am a very anxious person and worry much more than other people. I hate that but can't really change that easily.

18. I keep a diary since I was 10 years old. I use writing as a form of therapy.

Labai džiaugiuosi, kad gavau net 3 tagus iš mielų blogerių, bet pastaruoju metu tikrai neturiu laiko, todėl dabar ankstyvą šeštadienio rytą sudalyvausiu šiame žaidime, tačiau, nepykit, truputį pakeisdama taisykles. 1. Kokią knygą parekomenduotum perskaityti? Jack Kerouack "Kelyje". Tai viena geriausių knygų, kurias esu skaičiusi ir kiekvieną kartą ją skaitydama atrandu vis kažką naujo ir nuostabaus. Taip pat visos E.M. Remarque knygos :)
2. Jei visad turėtum, ką galėtum valgyti kasdien? Kasdien? Tikriausiai įvairiausius vaisius

8.Kokia tavo nuomonė apie "pasaulio pabaigą"? Labai labai tikiuosi, kad ji neateis ir kad majai tiesiog suklydo

10. Didžiausias pasiektas tikslas? Tikriausiai tai, kad pavyko baigti mokyklą su pagyrimu :)

 Tikrai nemaniau, kad man teks garbė gauti tokį apdovanojimą, kai blogą rašau vos kelis mėnesius :) Tad noriu labai padėkoti Rūtai už apdovanojimą! :)
Taigi, 7 faktai apie mane :

1. Esu nepataisoma svajotoja romantikė ir dažniausiai gyvenu arba svajonėse apie ateitį, arba prisiminimuose apie praeitį. Dėl to visos mano sienos nukabinėtos geriausių prisiminimų nuotraukomis ir man kartais labai sunku gyventi kasdienybėje :)

2. Prancūzų kalbą mokausi jau 10 metų. Tiesiog dievinu šią nuostabią kalbą, prancūzų kultūrą, o pati Prancūzija jau maždaug tiek pat metų yra svajonių šalis , į kurią vis dar, deja, nepavyko nuvykti

3. Labai mėgstu fotografuoti. Mėgstu užfiksuoti įvairias kasdienybės smulkmenas, kurios kitiems nepasirodytų vertos fotografavimo, bet man labai malonu po kurio laiko prisiminti viską, kas supo mane tam tikru metu :)

4. Dievinu šokius. Beveik visą gyvenimą šokau įvairiausius šokius, tik pastaruosius dvejus metus nebešoku jokiame kolektyve. Bet šokius visada mylėjau ir mylėsiu, todėl šoku bent jau namuose ir tai man velniškai gerai padeda atsipalaiduoti ar nusiraminti

5.  Labai nepasitikiu savimi, man vis atrodo, kad nepavyks, kad nesugebėsiu, kad tai ne man. Ir nors žinau, kad tai labai bloga savybė, man gana sunkiai sekasi nuo jos išsivaduoti

6. Labai labai mėgstu keliones traukiniais ar lėktuvais, kai tenka jais keliauti pati kelionė jais, o ne jos tikslas, būna tai, ko laukiu bene labiausiai.

7. Beveik visada man labiau patinka naktis už dieną. Naktimis man viskas atrodo gražiau, magiškiau, jaukiau, o vasaros naktims niekas negali prilygti :)

Nors mano mylimiausi blogai beveik visi jau gavo nominacijas, bet pasinaudosiu proga ir juos nominuosiu darkart :)
