WHAT MADE JANUARY INTERESTING

I feel like January is a month in which it's very difficult to be inspired. Or at least stay inspired after the New Year celebration. I totally feel this way so I've tried many things this month to keep me inspired. It mostly was TV and music I have to admit, nothing really exciting. There were many things to catch up on TV after my exams when I didn't have much time to do anything fun.  Now I am so happy that this month is finally over and we already welcomed February!

1. Girls. I'm so happy this show is back! When I found it last year it was already on its second seasons so I watched both of them in couple of days because it's just amazing. It is very different from what you usually see on TV maybe because it shows the real life more than anything else, it shows all of the imperfections, all the real struggles and real human. That is why I love it so much. I admire Lena Dunham so much. She captures the emotions and thoughts of our generation so perfectly and isn't afraid to expose even the not so pretty sides of life. And I love that this show is so raw and unpolished. It still blows my mind that the same person can write, direct and create such and amazing character on the show. It's amazing, simply amazing. 

2. Pretty Little Liars. When a new episode comes out there's a little party in my house because I looove this show lots! However, don't ever do this mistake of watching it in the middle of the night if you are easily scared, not the smartest choice.

3. American Hustle. I went to see this movie last week and it was so good! You can have too much expectations when you go to see a movie which is nominated for 10 Oscars (!) and all of the main actors are nominated for an Oscar! But it was really amazing and worth all of the nominations. Actors are spectacular, especially Jennifer Lawrence is stunning and very funny as always. This whole story is really captivating, there is some serious drama going on but it's funny as well, to me it's a perfect combination. I am not surprised it was nominated for so many awards.

4. Beyoncé. I have been listening to her new album non stop. Can we stop for a while and appreciate it a little more? I mean, this woman is always amazing but this album is perfection, it doesn't get better than this. Or maybe she will later prove how wrong I was. I really hope so. But this album is so special, all of these songs have something incredible and I love the whole vibe of it. While you listen to a song like Blue you see the most amazing side of this incredible woman but then while you listen to Partition or Drunk in Love you see completely different woman and they seriously make you feel sexy while listening to them. Beyoncé proved again why we all love her so much.

5. John Legend. I knew he existed but wasn't a big fan but when I found his song All of Me, I fell in love with it so much that I just had to listen to the full album. And I was so surprised when song after song I liked it even more. So now I have been playing it on repeat almost all the time. Except when I'm listening to Beyoncé, of course.
