HERE'S HOW WE CELEBRATED FATHER'S DAY

When you think of Summer, you imagine the Sun shining up in the sky, birds chirping around, warm breeze and warmth.. (Palm trees added to the picture would be absolutely idyllic). Well, Lithuanian Summer isn't always like this. On Sunday we woke up to a very rainy weather and the first days of the Summer weren't sunny at all. To be honest, I didn't really mind this as I had to stay home anyway to study for my exams but I'm hoping this is only the rainy beginning because Summer that looks exactly like Autumn isn't the best thing. This past week was pretty hectic, in these past 8 days I've had to take 4 exams, so only now I can finally relax for a while. Ed Sheeran is the singer of the night in my room tonight and I can finally do some blogging.

Despite this unhappy weather, last Sunday we had a Father's day celebration in our country and this was also an international children's day so this was quite a celebration and even though I'm not exactly a kid anymore, we still celebrated this day with my family. Me and my parents went to a really nice Italian restaurant called Basilico and had an absolutely amazing meal.
While being there we all have decided that we wouldn't really mind to eat Italian food every day. In fact, I would love this, Italian food and me get along really well. Me and my Mom got a big pizza to share which was d e l i c i o u s and my Dad got pasta which was great as well.  It was a nice way to remember our Italian trip with real Italian food which was actually really good, we had a glass of wine and enjoyed couple of hours together sitting cozy in a restaurant while it was pouring outside.
