SPRING VISION BOARD

SPRING VISION BOARD PINTEREST
This past week it's been sunny, then raining, then snowing and then raining again and even though some people are really enjoying this crazy weather, I definitely missed my favorite season which looks like my favorite season.
To me, Spring is fresh, warm, a little windy, a little chilly but warm enough to grab a coffee and walk around my city buzzing with people, it's the season with all kinds of colorful flowers all around the city and trees snowing with blossoms. It's a perfect season for waking up early and seeing the sun show up after a little and quick rain, it's green, it's so green sometimes the color doesn't seem real, it has an amazing smell and it's always full of promises and new possibilities. It's a season of leather jackets, pastel wedges or white Converse shoes, red or coral lipstick, it's just good and beautiful, you know. This is the Spring I miss and this is why on Sunday evenings I scroll Pinterest and try to inspire myself while creating vision board after vision board.
I really hope your Spring is inspired, I hope it's beautiful and sunny and full of smiles.

5 INTERESTING SITES ON THE INTERNET YOU SHOULD BE READING

Internet interesting sites worth bookmarking

I read a lot of blogs on the Internet, in fact, I mainly read on the Internet and don't really buy magazines that often. You probably know already that you can find pretty crazy stuff on-line and there are things you really don't want to see again but there are some wonderful sites out there that you should definitely bookmark and come back to many times because they are awesome!

. HUMANS OF NEW YORK.

I guess that by now you've already heard of this wonderful creation. I've recently watched an interview with the guy behind the camera and I was once again convinced that Interned is so powerful and so amazing sometimes that it's pretty incredible. This site is not your usual outfit of the day kind of one (even though I totally love these as well) but there are real people on the streets with real stories which are sometimes super inspiring and I just sit there in awe wondering how on earth does he find people so interesting and how many beautiful and sad stories people walking past us on the streets can share with the world. It's amazing, I love this site so so much.

.POST SECRET.

Postcards sent anonymously with deepest secrets on them? Yes, exactly that! It's one more amazing site (I will repeat the word "amazing" a lot in this post) which is also very inspiring. It's updated once a week with the real stories the guy behind this project receives, with very real deep secrets written on these real postcards. Once the new week comes, all of the secrets are deleted and new ones come and take their place. Sometimes there are some pretty dark and horrifying things written on these cards and this can actually help put everything into perspective a little bit, but sometimes there are also very beautiful stories are written on them which make you smile from ear to ear.

.TED TALKS.

I've been a fan of this project for years already and if you're ever feeling uninspired, just go to this site, pick the subject that is interesting to you or just choose an option "surprise me" and let the site do its magic and start watching. I'm pretty sure it's impossible to leave this site not feeling inspired, all these people talking on these stages are amazing and inspiring and can make you feel like you can do anything you want (because you really can). So just go for it, choose a topic and be inspired!

. TINY BUDDHA .

This is not a site about Buddhism, not at all, it's a beautiful place to go to read some very inspiring stories from the real people. There are many categories like challenges, happiness, letting go, mindfullness, peace or wisdom, so you're probably going to find something that's just right for you. I love this site and sometimes if I feel like everything just starts bubbling inside of my head and it's just the biggest mess in my mind, I go Tiny Buddha and start reading and mostly after reading it I feel much calmer and more mindful.
Sometimes when I'm on a bus to University and everything is dark outside and I'm not feeling my best, I take my phone, turn this site on, scroll for a bit and I find that one article perfect for that day. Sometimes these stories are so beautiful that can actually make you tear up a bit, or maybe that's just me.

. HELLO GIGGLES .

This one is also a very positive place on the Internet. Zooey  Deschanel (one of my favorite famous people) is a co-founder of this beautiful site and there are many girls writing there. This is a site mostly for girls and young women with many beautiful written pieces of every possible subject. It's a beautiful place for all the women out there and I feel like it's a very positive place helping yourself feel better about yourself and also inspiring you to do something more.

What are your favorite sites you can't imagine Internet without?

MONDAY MORNING MUSINGS / GILMORE GIRLS

gilmore girls binge watching

I did not grow up with Disney movies being a part of my days, I still haven't watched the majority of them and I should be even saying that out loud because you would be screaming whaaaaat if I mentioned which ones my eyes haven't seen. Anyway, the point of this is that I still haven't seen a lot of things that pretty much everyone saw or grew up with. One of them is Gilmore Girls. Before I started watching it, it was one thing in Google which used to pop up when I was searching something for Gossip Girl or New Girl (I seem to love the shows with the word girls in it).  I've only started watching this wonderful show last December and I was completely hooked from the very first episode. It doesn't happen all that often to me but it's just very nice. Not that nice in the fact that I spend hours just watching episode after episode and now I have been binge watching it non stop.

This show is an incredible example of the relationship between Mom and her daughter both named Lorelai, these characters all speak really quickly, there are some really questionable fashion choices (it was early 2000 when this show first aired on TV), loads of coffee, the nicest grandpa, Luke, Michel, a lot of books and it also is really heartwarming show and when I'm not having the best day or I simply want to make the day even better, I always turn to this little world of Stars Hollow. So if you're looking for a new show to watch, pick this one, I'm sure you would like it! I just can't imagine someone not liking this show and I mostly choose the shows with shorter episodes but 45 minutes just fly by while watching this show. So make a big cup of coffee, sit comfortably and just enjoy. I'm sure you will!

The signs that your coffee addiction is out of hand. Does anyone also feel like making another cup of coffee while watching this show? I know I do!

Are any of you also binge - watching some shows right now? Which ones?

MONDAY MORNING MUSINGS / DON'T WORRY

no one has it all figured out

Have you ever felt like you are the only one who doesn't have a clue what to do with your life? It might seem like all of the people are successful in what they do, they are trying to achieve a specific goal, they own a house, a car or are going to get married. This feeling has been my friend (or more like an enemy) for years and years. Sometimes it creeps up on me in the darkest hour of the night and keeps me up all night with my mind wandering around and not letting my eyes shut. Sometimes I get this thought in the middle of the conversation with someone who has things figured out, or at least seems like it. And it's so easy to start to look down on yourself when you are not somewhere you've expected to be some time ago. To start doubting yourself and comparing yourself with others who, seemingly, have everything figured out.
I'm very happy I found this quote just in time when these annoying thoughts were trying to make their way into my mind. I have to admit, sometimes I don't really feel very sure of myself and what the hell am I doing with my life. I'm 21 and I don't have a job, a boyfriend, I still live with my parents, I'm studying for a degree which doesn't really make my future secure, maybe completely contrary and when I start to think about it, I become terrified. I have so many plans in my mind, so many hopes and wishes and no ideas how to reach all of them, if I'm honest. But then again I come back to the earth and I realize that I am not alone, that there are millions of people feeling exactly like I do and if someone has everything figured out in their life, good for them, really, well done and for the rest of us who are still trying to make up their mind about what to do in this world, I guess, we have to keep on trying and being just a little bit kinder with ourselves. Because it's okay to not have it all figured out, it's okay to search and try and try again and one day, I hope, things will start to fall into place a little more. Have a great Monday!

INSPIRE YOURSELF / BLOGMAS ❅ DAY 11

 1 / 2

This very late evening I decided to wander around the beautiful world of Pinterest and it really serves as an amazing source of inspiration and I think we could all use a little bit of it every now and then. I'm coming down with a cold, I have about 2473 things to do, I'm feeling pretty sleepy, so at this point it felt like I really needed some inspiration. If you feel down, tired and just need a little pick me up between all the work you probably have to do as well, I hope these pictures will also be inspiring to you or at least will put a smile on your face :)

HALLOWEEN INSPIRATION

 Pictures via tumblr or weheartit
This is a little set of inspiration for Halloween. I'm a little sad that the tradition to celebrate this day doesn't exist in my country and for this time of the year I would really like to live in USA, I bet the atmosphere on that day is great. I like the idea of everyone dressing up in costumes, all these creepy decorations and creepy things - I find it so interesting and somehow really fascinating. Even though I really don't like scary movies and never watch them because I get nightmares for upcoming weeks but this creepiness of that day really fascinates me for some reason. So now every day I'm watching The Simpsons Halloween's episodes and also the Halloween special of Pretty Little Liars - OMG! These episodes are always the best and also incredibly spooky, probably it wasn't the best idea to watch it in the middle of the night...

WORDS OF THE WEEK

Pictures taken from tumblr.

This long week is finally over! Well, at least to me. Today I'm going to a party with my university friends and people I'm hoping to become friends with. So my weekend starts early which is a really nice thing. This party is a themed one so we all will be people from certain decades. I'll get to wear a dress, put on my pearl necklace, curl my hair, paint my nails in a bright red and wear a bright lipstick. :) This was a difficult week, I had a ton of assignments, I'm a little tired but I think the party is really right on time!

AFTER THE STORM

Today was such a gorgeous day outside. Sun finally decided to show up and to shine on our frozen land. I really forgot what it feels like be able to stay outside and manage not to freeze. That feeling is amazing. Especially after this insanely long winter we had this year.
And that's just a little quote I found and really liked. I use that kind of inspiration every day, it helps me a lot. Have a nice week everyone! ♥

I don't wanna miss a thing

I love that feeling. You know, the one you get when you take a deep breath and suddenly everything feels like it‘s going to be okay. When you‘re hopeless as can be, and life is going nowhere, there‘s those moments we have every now and then where we just stop, and we get this feeling, that can‘t be described, but you just... you just feel like everything really is going to be okay. Like the world stopped spinning for a second, and everything was clear. I need more of those moments. – The X

I am done with my graceless heart, so tonight I'm gonna cut it out and then restart

Sometimes, there are things in our life that aren't meant to stay. Sometimes, change may not be what we want. Sometimes, change is exactly what we need. And sometimes, saying goodbye is the hardest thing you think you'll ever have to do, but sometimes, saying hello again is the thing that breaks you down and makes you more vulnerable than you ever thought possible. Sometimes, change is too much to bear. But most of the time, change is the only thing saving your life.  -Anonymous

It keeps me inspired

I'm the biggest notebook lover you could possibly meet, okay, this might be a little too much of a statement, but seriously, I love notebooks of every kind. I have way to many of them and I keep buying them because there are so many things I could use them for. This one is a very nice one I have and it really keeps me inspired in my daily life. I have some quotes written down, some pictures and it's just one of these things you enjoy having around you at all times. I love it!
