+ This is a wonderful read while we are approaching New Years about some things we need to let go.  Definitely worth bookmarking and remembering.

+ I love the idea of this sequin garland, I'm thinking about doing something like this in my room.

+ 15 (!) holiday cookie recipes. Chocolate chip meringue cookies sound perfect to me, but to be honest all these recipes look incredible.


+ This is not Christmas related in any way but I really wanted to share it. As I was scrolling down this long post, my stomach really turned upside down because it shows how small you actually are in this immense universe we live in. It's really pretty scary when you think about it, but I thought it was an amazing post.

+ Cats AND Christmas? Oh yes, of course. This if for all the cat lovers - cats pretending to be Christmas ornaments. This might lighten mood just a little bit if you are having and existential crisis like one of the persons in the comments said in the previous post about the universe.

MY ENDLESS LIST OF GRATITUDE #19

♥  In my 21 years I still have never been to a real Halloween party but I still dream of going to one someday. But for now, I made my room look a little bit spookier and I really like it and it will be an amazing atmosphere for watching Halloween movies!

♥ So this is the reason why I am late to my classes mos of the time. My precious cat is so adorable lately and has been so energetic, that I just spend so much time watching her do things or just sleep. Today she found my Canon lens lid so entertaining and it was so interesting to watch her play with it.

 ♥ This is another accent I've added to my room to make it slightly more ready for Halloween. I'm always so sad that we don't have the real tradition to celebrate Halloween where I live, so at least I make my room get into the spirit a little bit more.

♥ This means the only thing - winter is coming. All of my sweaters are organized and ready to make me feel a little cozier and warmer during these colder months.

♥ I am a huge lover of postcards and receiving one from the country far away (Denmark) is such an amazing feeling. My friend is living there now and this has been the cutest birthday present this year!

IT'S LUNA'S BIRTHDAY!

Yesterday my precious was celebrating her first birthday. I've become such a cat lady that this day actually seems important to me. Quite a few  family members and friends are also celebrating their birthdays on this day, so when we found out that this kitty was born on July 16th, we took it as a sign that she was destined to be our cat. When we got her, she was only 3 months old and she was tiny and now she has grown into a big and wonderful cat who is now staring at me while I'm typing this. Every day I look at her and I can't believe how much I love her. The strangest thing is that I've never been a cat person, I was pretty afraid of them and only looked at them from afar but now I can't imagine how we have lived before she came into our lives. Seeing her around is the biggest joy, really. It's amazing to get back home when she is waiting at the door for you. However, she is still a cat and a very independent one and is she is not feeling like sitting on your lap, she will express it very loudly and you can only agree with her. I am so happy I fought so hard to convince my family to get this cat breed because I knew she was perfect for us and she actually is.

(EASTER) WEEKEND PHOTO DIARY

Easter was almost a week ago and I'm posting these pictures only now. For some reason I've been all over the place and these holidays I've just weren't spent chilling but only created more mess in my life (head).
Easter was never my favorite holiday but as I'm growing up, I've started to enjoy this celebration a little bit more. This whole pastel theme that Easter definitely has, is appealing to me so much because I'm all for pastels now and I could be one big walking marshmallow if I wore pastels head to toe like I would love to. Also, Easter is a true sign of Spring and this year Easter days were truly warm and sunny and it was the true Spring all around. I remember last year Easter was snowy and I just don't even want to remember this cold, thankfully this year flowers are already blooming all around. So of course this year I've spent the entire weekend without a coat on and it felt amazing. My family, my Grandmother and my Godmother's family even got to eat dinner outside with the sunrise behind us. We were actually forced to do this because electricity went off in the whole street but I think everyone really enjoyed this time spent outside. Family holidays are always combined with family drama in this family and we didn't manage to escape it this year as well but this sunny weather really made everything much better!

5 MONTHS OF HAVING A CAT

 5 moths ago on this very day we brought our Luna home for the first time. I remember how stressed out we all were, how tiny and cute she was and how scared she looked while sitting in a bag when we were driving home. I looked at her and couldn't imagine how she would change our lives. 

5 months doesn't seem like a very long time but it honestly feels like we own her forever. I don't even remember our home without this amazing creature walking around and I don't remember how it used to feel being completely alone. Now it never happens and I always have company around (even if she's sleeping almost all the time). Our family bonded so much more over this time while we have her, we always have a certain thing to talk about and there's so much more laughter because she surprises us every single day. She is so adorable, I can't believe how perfect she is. Sometimes I really wish I was a cat, just looking so perfect and being able to sleep all the time. Is that really weird? 

She is very much loved here and I think this was the best decision we have taken in probably ever and I am so happy I convinced my parents to get a British Shorhair because she is amazing, she is honestly the best cat for us. Probably every animal owner feels this way about their animals, it's probably the same like your child is the best one of all, my cat is really the best one of all. 
It's so strange and funny that we all have never been big animal lovers and we don't have a very long history with animals and now we just melt around her, we talk to her like she is a real person and we just run around chasing her (our neighbours probably hate us). 

 Now when I am such a cat lady I would advice everyone to get a cat of their own because it brings much more happiness than you could imagine!

 This is the first picture I took of her while driving back home. She was SO tiny and she looks so scared but she adapted to our home quite quickly. 

MY ENDLESS LIST OF GRATITUDE #6

 Well, quite uneventful week here on the blog I can say. Exams are not the best time, I'm sure everyone would agree. However, I have some things I'm grateful for, so it's always nice! :)

♥ My Luna. She spent most of the Christmas sleeping like in this picture and that's how she spends most of the time. I love this cat so so much. Now I have to spend a lot more time studying at home but that is not so bad when I get to spend so much time with this cutie. 

♥ This week I passed two more exams and there's only 2 more left! 

♥ F.R.I.E.N.D.S That's probably quite a weird thing to be grateful for but I love this show so much.  Whenever I'm having a bad day, or I'm stressed out or I just want 20 minutes of laughter, I always know where to turn to. 

♥ I got to spend quite a lot of time this week with my wonderful friend and that is so awesome because I miss that girl so much all the time.

HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS

I wish each and everyone of You a very happy and merry Christmas! I hope all of you are with people You love and cherish, enjoying meals together and spending lots of great time chilling and without worries. My Christmas will be very different and a lot sadder without one very loved family member this year  but I will try to have a nice time and try to finally chill a lot.

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU..

A month ago we brought this wonderful kitty to our home. We had a pretty hard time deciding what kind of kitten we want and there were couple of arguments involved but one day I've received an email about this kitty so we all instantly thought that this cat chose us itself. I never thought how much my family needed a kitten. Many years have already passed from the last time we owned a animal so it was about time to have a new addition to our family. 
 I was never a true cat lover, mostly I kept my distance from these furry animals as I was really scared of being scratched or bitten. I was more of a dog person I'd say but I really never was a true animal lover. Yes, animals are amazing and I love watching them from afar but I tried not to touch them that much. The only cat I wasn't really afraid is probably this big, furry and very adorable white cat my friend has. That cat I really like. 
But everything really changed from the moment we brought this amazing furry friend into our home. I can't believe how things can change in one month - now I could watch her sleep for hours because she is that cute. I miss her when I'm in other room or when I'm out and I want to cuddle her all the time. Sometimes I look at her and I can't believe how perfect she is with her cute paws, little nose and these long whiskers. And she is so soft and warm and she also smells really nice - I know that sounds weird - but she smells so sweet I sometimes like to smell her furry coat. She was so tiny when we first got her and it's so nice and really fun to see her growing.
I became this crazy cat lady who talks in weird voices with her cat and I like showing pictures of her to people around me because I think my cat is that beautiful. I just love her that much. Everyone in my family adores her and I didn't expect this little bundle of joy to bring that many happiness to our home.
It's weird to think that only one month passed from the day we got her but I simply can't imagine how we lived without her for that many years. Honestly, it feels like we own her forever. 
She is the cutest thing ever. So prepare for seeing many pictures of this beauty here.
